The Artist’s original sketches were regarded as fringe art. This was neither a compliment nor did it put food on the table. His family eventually left him as he sunk into an obscure world unleashing and perfecting his latent metaphysical art skills. Decades of honing his paranormal talent have left The Artist a whiskey-loving recluse by all outward appearances, but also a master who commands hefty commissions from a very select clientele.

His work will never grace the walls of any gallery and he is only known to his clients by a set of untraceable crypto account numbers and an elusive dark web presence known as The Artist. For the few patrons with knowledge of his unique skills, he is an expensive but reliable tool who does his exceptional work from his comfy leather chair.  A matchless “tueur” who never misses, never fails, and cannot be caught. So long as the money and whiskey flow, so does the river of impossible murders.  Or so it would seem.

The Artist: La Décapitation is the first in a series of shorts that traces obscure metaphysical skills, that have been deployed across the globe for years.  However, as he flawlessly completes yet another commission from the comfort of his chair, unbeknownst to him, this particular masterpiece draws attention that threatens to unravel The Artist’s idyllic life.
